What to expect

Just be yourself and come as you are. You don't have to dress in a suit, or worry that you won't fit in. People come to Race Path from many different backgrounds, ages, and cultures. Everyone is welcome here, no matter your background, your doubts, or questions. God accepts us as we are.

Race Path is a traditional Baptist church with a blend of modern elements in our worship services, which are designed to be uplifting and nurturing.

What do I do when I get there?

There is special visitor parking in the front, but most classes and events happen near the rear entrance. If coming from the front, use the Sanctuary entrance and go through to the side exit on the right. This will lead you to a greeter who can show you and and others in your family where they can attend an age-appropriate Sunday School class.

While Sunday School is an important part of connecting with the people of the church, we understand first-time visitors may just want to attend the Worship Service. Announcements start at 10:55 a.m. with the service starting at 11 a.m. The Sanctuary is open at 10 a.m., so feel free, if you get there early, to go ahead and get comfortable.

Timing

Our services usually last around 70 minutes.

Where do my kids go?

If you have small children, we suggest you meet a greeter behind the Sanctuary in the Rear Vestibule who will direct you to the nursery. Feel free to check on your child at any time.

Kids ages 4 - 9 should attend the beginning of the Morning Worship service. About half-way through, they will be dismissed with the Children's Church volunteer for that week.

All teachers and volunteers undergo a background check before they are allowed to serve with children, and are carefully monitored. Your kids are safe at Race Path!

Be sure to say "Hi"

We are a happy family who like to meet new friends. Stick around for a moment following the service to introduce yourself to a few members. Our Pastor, and his wife, will be at the Front door to give everyone an opportunity to meet him.

I've been around a few times and I want to join!

If you are interested in officially joining the church, contact the Pastor after a service or during the week. He will help guide you through a few things to make sure you and your family are connected with the church and also give instructions on how to join.
